Andrew J. Monaghan, Sr.
LLC Manager / Principal Owner

After graduating from the University of Notre Dame in 1966, Mr. Monaghan began his business career at the Boeing Company as a management trainee in helicopter production and marketing. In 1969, he went to work for Westinghouse Power Systems Company, and for the last five years at Westinghouse he served as a senior consultant to the general management of four operating divisions involving new business development opportunities in domestic markets as well as projects in Europe, Russia, China, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and Latin America.

In 1975, Mr. Monaghan started his own new business development consulting practice under the name of drew incorporated - consultants, which pursued special project management assignments covering 15 industries, from financial institutions to high tech defense firms, to environmental concerns. Most notable among his clients are General Electric, Westinghouse, Gulf Oil (Chevron), Sumitomo, and Loral Federal Systems.

As the Principal of drew incorporated - consultants. he was responsible for the planning, pursuit, capture and transition team leadership of two major projects in excess of a billion dollars each. His expertise centers on new business development, crises management, project planning and management, strategic planning and negotiations. In addition to general business management, he is an expert in startups, turnaround situations, acquisitions, joint ventures and innovative financing. In 1990, he led the pursuit team that obtained the initial $240,000,000 Westinghouse contract for decontamination, decommissioning and conversion of Public Service of Colorado's Ft. St. Vrain nuclear generating station. And, in 1993-94 led a stealth team consisting of four major corporations that pursued the $1.2 billion management contract for the DOE Rocky Flats site outside Boulder, Colorado.

Mike Ellis - Builder/partner

Thirty-year history of custom and production residential and commercial/industrial construction. Has supervised as many as 25 custom residential home construction projects in one year. His company, Euclid Custom Homes, maintains a Class A Builder's license with no negative remarks since its inception in 1976. Holds excellent reputation among Colorado Custom Home Builders and Architects.

Dennis R. Miller - Project Manager

Twenty-six years in construction management. Most recent 'large' assignment was as the construction superintendent of the entire interior of the new stadium for the Bronco football team in Denver. Prior to that he was the Construction Supervisor for Coors Brewing Company for over 21 years.


John Buss - Architect (Advisor)

Internationally acclaimed designer/developer of very high-end, high-rise building complexes. Most notable is the Hotel W chain in the USA and Europe. His Hotel W building in San Francisco won him the Best in Architecture award in 2000.

General L.O. "Jeff" Giuffrida, USA, Ret. (Advisor)

Director of Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) under President Reagan.

Magid Derakhshandeh (Advisor)

Construction Superintendent, Colorado State Department of Transportation in charge of road and bridge construction for the past 24 years. Among many credits, he supervised construction of the overpass bridge at I-70 and Wadsworth (Denver). He acts in an advisory capacity to projects until he retires from the State. Mr. Derakhshandeh's responsibilities are in the areas of concrete batch infrastructure development, foundations, retaining walls, geotechnical and environmental matters.
